16th International Conference of Indian Association of Palliative Care

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of IAPCON 2009, it is our proud privilege to welcome you all to join 16th International Conference of Indian Association of Palliative Care which is scheduled to be held from 13th – 15th February, 2009 at Jawaharlal Nehru Auditorium, All India Institute Medical Sciences, New Delhi, INDIA. The objective of the conference is to “Update Knowledge in Palliative Care” and the theme of the conference is "Freedom from Pain". The meeting has been planned to be a fountainhead of knowledge with a star-studded faculty of experienced luminaries from across the globe.

This is an opportunity for doctors, nurses and other health care professionals to have a over view in palliative care…

As interventional pain management is fast evolving into a sub-specialty of pain medicine, we are planning to conduct one day cadaveric hands-on pre-conference workshop in Interventional Pain Management techniques on 12th February, 2009. World renowned National & International faculty are joining us to conduct this workshop.

ANTEA Worldwide Palliative Care Conference

ANTEA Associazione & ANTEA Formad are glad to invite you to participate in the ANTEA Worldwide Palliative Care Conference (http://www.mcrelazionipubbliche.it/prova/eventi_db.php )  that will be held in Rome 12 - 14 of November 2008, in collaboration with the European Association for Palliative Care (EAPC) http://www.eapcnet.org/

This Conference stems from the need to understand the current state of the art of Palliative Care around the world. For the first time, the world’s most important Palliative Care Organizations and Hospices Representatives will meet in Rome to share their experiences. The conference’s main goal is to outline, in a Consensus Conference, the Core Curricula of the health professionals working in Palliative Care... On the basis of those Core Curricula an educational path for professionals working in Palliative Care will be designed: topics to be studied, learning strategies and expected measurable results, all of which are irrespective of cultural and educational system differences.
