Dear Liliana
With this little note we want to thank you once again for thinking about us and to include us in the activities you develop. We would like to sincerely thank you for the new shipment of books, journals and IAHPC publications that you sent as part of your “Clearing House Program.” We have found it of great informative value, but also and especially a great source of educational material in Palliative Care.
Thank you once again and best regards,

Dear Ms Liliana de Lima,
We received your invaluable gift - the journals and publications that you have donated and sent to our St Mother Theresa’s Fund - as part of the Clearing House Program.
I am truly moved by your help and support that you are providing to our initiative towards the creation of hospice in the Latvian Republic. I am happy to inform you that at present time we are conducting a registration in the Latvian Department of Social Services and in the Ministry of Welfare for the first Hospice at home - a new program in Latvia. We are indebted to you for this donation and the help you have provided us to continue our activities.
With the gratitude and the best regards,
Yours sincerely,

Thank you very much for the books and journals. These are always very useful for our unit staff to prepare lectures and organize seminars. Special literature, especially in palliative care is quite difficult to get in Latvia. Therefore, we start with the materials which we can get, turn them into lectures, and afterwards compile them as teaching materials in Riga, Latvi
