Thank You Notes

Dear Liliana,

Greetings from Mildmay- Uganda
We would like to thank you and your entire team for donating to us a copy of the Oxford Textbook of Palliative Medicine. It will go along way in uplifting our knowledge in our practice as well as training. Thank you very much once again.

Dr William Musoke

Dear Ms. De Lima:

I would like to thank you once again for sending us a copy of the 2nd edition of the Oxford Textbook of Palliative Medicine.

The book is indeed very useful. In my country, there are no books about palliative care available in our bookstores as far as I know. There are also very few journals about palliative care and which are not available in some of our top medical schools. I would like to subscribe, but our group cannot afford it for now because our meager resource is spent on developing the service. We would welcome with great appreciation old journals that you will give away.

Once again thank you so much and more power to the IAHPC.

Sincerely,

Cynthia V. San Luis, MD
St. Michael's Hospice Philippines

******************************

On behalf of the sisters and all at Cape Agulhas Hospice, I wish to thank you for the gift of a copy of the Oxford Textbook of Palliative Medicine.  Our Hospice is an emerging branch at the Southern-most tip of Africa, we rely on community funding only, and sincerely appreciate the gift and the trouble to mail this very useful reference textbook to our faraway corner of the world.
